Frequently Asked Questions

My dogs recall isn’t very good, can he still come on group walks?

Prior to joining the pack, your dog will undergo a minimum of two solo walks. Here we can work on things like recall on a one to one basis, improving our relationship along the way! Once your dog is at a suitable level of behaviour, they can join the pack! We will never let a dog offlead unless they have a solid recall, we will use longlines for safety, if your dog requires a longline please provide us with a harness!

My dog has never been on a pack walk, how do I know they will enjoy it?

Once your dog has graduated the solo walks onto the pack walks, we will take things slowly to prevent overwhelming your pooch. Packs will always be hand selected depending on the dogs individual behaviours, ensuring they match each other perfectly! We will normally integrate dogs into your dogs initial walks, for example on their third solo walk we will bring along another dog.

What happens in the case of an emergency?

In the unlikely event of an emergency, we will immediately call you on the contact details you provide during registration. If vet assistance is required, we will try our upmost to take your dog to your nominated vet however may use another trusted vet if needed.

How do you transport the dogs?

We have a fully bespoke temperature controlled van, fitted with built in crates with adjustable heights ensuring a comfy journey! Rubber floor to prevent slipping about in transit and easy cleaning with crates being disinfected after each dog. Our dogs will always be transported individually to prevent any unnecessary stress or potential injury.

Do you accept all breeds?

There is no breed discrimination here at ATC! We will always endeavour to help any pooch, however we do have the right to refuse to walk any dog. Dogs with a Dog Control Order will not be able to participate in the pack walks, however we can still provide solo walks!

Do you walk intact males or females in season?

We absolutely walk intact males! Our packs are hand selected and behaviours monitored throughout the walk. Females in season cannot participate in pack walks, instead we can offer a home visit, with a carefully monitored short solo walk and then in house enrichment and mental exercise.

How do I pay?

You can either pay via bank transfer or cash. Invoices can be created on request.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

You can cancel at any time but please give a minimum of 24 hours notice. Charges will be incurred for late cancellations.
